We built RootView because the stack superintendents are asked to run today is fragmented, soil data here, disease pressure there, irrigation history in a third system, and the morning still ends with stitching it together by hand.

The problem we kept seeing

Most courses end up paying for several products that were never designed to share a screen. You might run a soil sensor service, a disease prediction platform, and a spray or partnership layer on top, then spend time exporting CSVs, reconciling alerts, or simply ignoring a tool because it doesn't talk to the rest of the operation.

RootView started from a simpler premise: the superintendent's morning read, moisture, pressure, timing, weather, should live in one place, on one phone, without a integration project every season.

Soil in one place

Moisture platforms like Spiio tell you how wet the rootzone is, useful, but only one slice of the morning read.

Disease in another

Predictive tools such as PredictN7 sit in a separate workflow, often tied to manufacturer partnerships and spray programs that aren't yours alone to run.

Irrigation somewhere else

Rain Bird and other irrigation systems hold the water-application record, usually in a separate login while moisture readings and disease pressure sit in tools that never see what actually ran overnight.

Truly all-in-one - not another tab

RootView is hardware-as-a-service sensors plus a superintendent dashboard: rootzone data, validated and favorability disease models, and decision-timing tools in a single workflow. You're not licensing Spiio for moisture, PredictN7 (or similar) for pressure, and then layering a Syngenta partnership on top, and you're not exporting Rain Bird runtimes into a spreadsheet to compare against a moisture dashboard that was never built to receive them. RootView connects Rain Bird irrigation data directly.

The goal is a full turf-maintenance command center: irrigation history, season logging, spray timing, and the agronomic signals that actually drive the call, so the program managers run every day has one home, not five logins.

Built with superintendents who know the turf

RootView isn't a generic IoT dashboard with golf wallpaper. It is being developed hand-in-hand with leading superintendents, people with decades in the chair, deep agronomy knowledge, and hard-won intuition about how greens actually behave through an Ontario (and Canadian) season.

That shows up in what we measure, which models we ship, how the morning scan is laid out, and what we refuse to fake. Favorability flags stay labeled as conditions, not probabilities. Sensor recommendations stay right-sized to what your grass and climate justify. The product is shaped by the people who will trust it when a frost call or a spray window is on the line.
